It's no secret that Newington are one of the top rugby schools in Australia and the world. Recently though it's looking to only get better with students representing the school at a national level of rugby. Boys such as Heamasi Makasini, Callum Grantham, Keone Anithelea-Tsioussis, Jarryd King, Cormac Mooney and both A squads have promising players. These players have represented in high levels include the NSW CIS team and gen blue teams. Callum and Heamasi both being named in the merit squad for the sport which means if there was an Australian u15's squad they have quite high potential to be named in it.
